Former US President Donald Trump held private meetings at his private residence in Florida after an assassination attempt was made on him to an election rally in Pennsylvania.

This information was reported by ABC News, reports URA-Inform.

The former president of the United States of America over the past 24 hours has held meetings with several senators and the governor of the North Dakota. It is noted that all the meetings took place at Trump's private residence in Florida, Mar-a-Lago, which is carefully guarded by both private service and, probably, now government law enforcement agencies.

According to ABC News sources, on meetings could discuss the candidacy of the prospective US Vice President in the event of Donald Trump's victory.

Meanwhile, Trump's speaker assured that the ex-president's health condition is now satisfactory, although he was temporarily taken to the hospital. After the assassination attempt, Trump himself sent a letter to his fans with the words:

“This is a message from Donald Trump. I will never give up!”.

Recall that it was previously reported that there was a shooting in Pennsylvania: Trump made his first statement after the assassination.
