Mark Andrusyak, head of the Personnel Policy Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, provided an explanation regarding the update of military registration data.

< p>He noted that there will be no automatic fines for failure to fulfill this obligation until July 16. Andrusyak recalled that the deadline for updating data expires on July 16. This period of two months was introduced to ensure fair performance of military duties by all citizens.
Citizens were required to update their data, including their residential address, telephone number, and email. Men who failed to update their data could face administrative fines ranging from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500.
Andrusyak emphasized that the Ministry of Defense was not going to extend the deadline for updating data, as there was enough time for this.
When asked about the possibility of automatic fines, Andrusyak responded that neither Ukrainian legislation nor other regulations provide for such a procedure. He clarified that fines can be imposed within three months from the moment the violation is discovered and up to one year from the moment it is committed.
Mark Andrusyak noted the importance of updating military registration data and emphasized that automatic fines for failure to update them are not provided. The Ministry of Defense expects citizens to fulfill their duties within the established deadline.
