On Tuesday, July 16, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill to abolish daylight saving time in Ukraine.

People's deputy from the Golos faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak emphasized that this document provides for the fixation of winter time.

He reported that in 2024, on the last Sunday of October in Ukraine, the clock hands will be moved for the last time.

“Parliament adopted bill No. 4201 on the abolition of the time change in Ukraine from winter to summer,” — he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Zheleznyak, this year on the last Sunday of October (27th) in Ukraine the clock will be switched to winter time for the last time.

“Then there will be no change to daylight saving time from 2025 and beyond,” — explained the people's representative.

Yaroslav Zheleznyak noted that this idea was supported by 261 parliamentary deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

We recall that it was previously reported that the population of Ukraine will decrease by millions of people: sad forecast from the UN.
