On Wednesday, July 17, new rules for crossing the border during mobilization come into force in Ukraine.

This information is reported in paragraph 17 of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 560, URA-Inform reports.

< p>According to them, from today all persons liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 60 must present military registration documents when crossing the state border of Ukraine to leave.

Now crossing the border by those liable for military service will take place in accordance with paragraph 17 of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 560 of May 16, 2024, which provides:

— verification of military registration documents of citizens from 18 to 60 years of age. This document can be presented in electronic format along with your passport;

— refusal to travel abroad if the person liable for military service does not have a military document;

— The State Tax Service has the right to prohibit the departure of persons wanted by the TCC for the purpose of detention, taking into account the current mobilization in Ukraine;

— the categories of persons who, according to the Rules for crossing the border by citizens of Ukraine, are allowed to leave Ukraine, remain unchanged.

At the same time, the representative of the State Border Service Andrey Demchenko explained that in order to avoid problems when crossing the border, all those liable for military service have:

— register for military service if you have not done so before;

— update military registration data by fulfilling the requirements of Law No. 3633-IX on strengthening mobilization in Ukraine.

In addition, the official clarified that those liable for military service during mobilization in Ukraine cannot go abroad without a deferment. And those who have a deferment and want to go abroad must follow the following rules:

— have with you a military registration document that indicates the right to a deferment or exclusion from registration due to health status;

— if information about deferment or exclusion is contained in another document, it should be shown to the State Tax Service in a special certificate issued in accordance with Appendix 6 of the procedure for conscription of citizens.

«So far we have not seen an increase in the number of border crossings to leave Ukraine by men. In fact, every day this number remains constant. I would like to note that only if there are conditions that allow them to cross the border, do men leave Ukraine,” Demchenko noted.

We recall that it was previously reported, general mobilization: will Ukrainians be fined for abroad if they don't update the data.
