This information was reported by The New York Times, reports URA-Inform.

The publication noted that the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces in the east became an “alarming event” for Kyiv. Ukraine hopes that weapons and ammunition recently received from its allies will help contain the advance of the Russian occupiers.

They reported that this has already happened in the northeast, where reinforced Defense Forces managed to stop the enemy’s advance in the direction of Kharkov. US officials have assured that Russia is unlikely to make significant territorial gains in the coming months.

“As the war reaches the two and a half year mark, Ukraine is implementing a plan for a negotiated cessation of hostilities,” — reported to the media.

Worth  It should be noted that President Vladimir Zelensky plans to hold a second international peace summit in 2024. Officials from the Russian Federation should also be present at these negotiations. Journalists emphasized that Kremlin representatives were not invited to the previous meeting in Switzerland.

We recall that it was previously reported that the approximate date of the second Peace Summit has been announced: Zelensky admitted that he will prepare for it.
