Thus, since 2022, the city authorities have introduced a procedure for partial reimbursement of the cost of independent sources of electricity (generators) purchased for the needs of multi-apartment residential buildings. Partial compensation is carried out in the amount of 75% of the total cost of the purchased source for one house, but not more than 80 thousand hryvnia.

Who is entitled to partial compensation:

— association of co-owners of apartment buildings (OSMD);

— housing and construction cooperatives serving cooperatives (HBC/OK);

— legal entities whose main activity according to KVED is 81.10 «Comprehensive maintenance of facilities»;

— housing cooperatives (LC);

— multi-apartment residential buildings in which the co-owners, in the manner prescribed by law, elected a manager of any form of ownership other than communal (manager).

It should be noted that independent sources of electrical energy include: gasoline, diesel, gas generators, solar charging stations, inverters, etc.

How to receive partial compensation for a purchase generator

To reimburse the cost of independent sources of electrical energy, condominiums, housing cooperatives/OKs, legal entities, residential complexes, managers must submit to the Kyiv district state administrations:
