It became known that on Wednesday, July 24, in the Brovary district of the Kiev region, an accident occurred on an underground high-pressure gas pipeline, which left several settlements without gas supply.

The Kiev Regional Military Administration reported this in its Telegram, reports URA-Inform.

According to information from the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, without gas 4,149 consumers remained in the settlements of Rozhny, Skibin, Letki, Letochki, Sobolevka and the Parnya farm. Also disconnected from the gas supply are the gardening partnerships «Lily of the Valley», «Snowdrop», «Trudovik», «Enchanted Desna», «Lubich&#187 ;, «Academic Gardens» and «Prilesye».

Emergency services are already engaged in eliminating the consequences of the incident. The gas pipeline was damaged by construction equipment during unauthorized excavation work on private territory.

The head of the Kyiv Regional Administration Ruslan Kravchenko appealed to law enforcement agencies demanding that they begin to investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice.

Currently valves in the affected settlements are being closed and preparatory work is being carried out to repair the gas pipeline. According to experts, it will take at least two days to eliminate the accident and restore gas supply.
