Who should undergo identification?

The Pension Fund of Ukraine noted that all pensioners are required to undergo identification. This is a necessary procedure that ensures the timely and correct accrual of pension payments.

Previously, most pensioners did not even notice that they were undergoing identification, since it happened unnoticed, for example, through the postman or when receiving a new bank card.

“For a certain category of citizens, the requirement to undergo physical identification has not been applied for the last 3 years. Over the past three years, pension payments to pensioners who became IDPs before February 24, 2022, have been made without undergoing physical identification, since the introduction of quarantine in Ukraine due to Covid-19,” the Pension Fund clarified.
