Are men aged 18 to 25 subject to mobilization: TCK explanation

Twitter LinkedIn

The Odessa Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center reported that in some cases men aged 18 to 25 may be mobilized to the front.

This information was reported by the Odessa Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, URA-Inform reports.

They noted that there are several reasons for this.

«Indeed, men aged 18 to 25 are classified as conscripts. However, there are cases when such persons may be mobilized,» the TCC noted.

Men aged 18 to 25 may be sent to the front if:

— the conscript has completed his military service in peacetime;

— graduated from a higher military educational institution or a military department and received a certain military registration specialty;

—«limitedly fit», that is, recognized by the military medical commission as unfit for military service in peacetime and fit in wartime.

«According to the law, since April 2024 there is no status of «limitedly fit». People who had it remain liable for military service, even if they are under 25 years old. That is, such people can actually have their military registration documents checked and if they are not up-to-date, they can be sent to undergo a military medical commission again, the TCC noted.

Recall that it was previously reported that the mobilization age should be reduced to 22 years due to a shortage of personnel in the army, – NSU.
