Poland is outraged by Orban's statements: what was offered to HungaryPolish Deputy Foreign Minister Teofil Bartoszewski noted that there is no particular need for Hungary to be a member of the EU and NATO.

This information was reported by RAR, as reported by URA-Inform.

He made this statement after the anti-Polish statements of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The Polish Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized that, unlike Orban, his country does not do business with Russia after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, “since this was an attack on Poland, as well as on the United States, the European Union and NATO.”

Bartoszewski added that Orban's speech had already received a very negative response from the US Embassy in Budapest.

«I don't really understand why Hungary wants to remain a member of organizations that they don't like so much and that allegedly treat them badly. Why shouldn't Orban form an alliance with Putin and some authoritarian states of this type? This is on the principle that if you don't want to be a member of a club, you can always leave. This is certainly Hungary's anti-European, anti-Ukrainian, anti-Polish policy at the moment», — the Polish official spoke out sharply.

Bartoszewski recalled that Hungary is also blocking two billion zlotys (467 million euros) from the European Peace Fund, assigned to Poland by the EU to compensate for military equipment received by Ukraine.

Recall that earlier it was reported that Zelensky stopped contacts with Trump: an insider revealed what happened.
