In the coming days, the Earth expects magnetic storms with the highest level of danger. Solar activity is measured on the K-index scale, which ranges from 0 to 9. K-index values of 5 and above indicate strong magnetic storms:
- On July 30 solar activity with a K-index of 7 is predicted. This corresponds to the strongest magnetic storm;
- On July 31a red danger level with a K-index of 6 is expected.
