As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, Russia will no longer be able to take control of Kharkov, and now the occupiers have changed their goal, focusing their efforts on the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.

This information was reported by the French publication Le Monde, reports “URA-Inform”.

«The Eastern region is very difficult. The main task at the moment, after the failure to capture Kharkov, and we understand that this is no longer possible. The main goal has changed. Their focus is not the entire east, although Slavyansk is also taken into account, but Pokrovsk is now their priority,» the president noted.

He added that Russian troops are concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction. This concerns not only the plans to capture Pokrovsk, but also Konstantinovka, Toretsk and Slavyansk.

Zelensky emphasized that the Russians have concentrated the maximum number of personnel, weapons and guided aerial bombs in the Pokrovsk direction. According to the president, it is possible to defend against Russian KABs by destroying enemy aircraft.

«Although I will say honestly, they have already lost aircraft, a significant number, but they are also losing their air defense system. It is difficult to fight them in the sky, that is a fact. Their air fleet is numerically larger, so to speak, and it is difficult to fight them, but nevertheless», — added the head of state.

Recall that Kadyrov made sharp threats to the Russian authorities: “We will stand up against these shaitans” (video).
