Some Ukrainians will be awarded only a quarter of their normal pension.

This information is reported in the information of the Government Contact Center, reports “URA-Inform”.

This concerns those pensioners who are fully supported by the state in social institutions. In accordance with the law, such pensioners are paid only 25% of the assigned pension, and the rest is transferred to the institution where she is fully supported by the state.

In this case, the institution can use the transferred money exclusively to improve the living conditions of pensioners. It is noted that if there are disabled persons in the pensioner's family, they can be paid up to 50% of his pension. In this case, the pensioner will receive 25% of his pension, and the remaining 25% will be received by the state institution in which he is supported.

Also, the state institution receives 50% for the stay in it of children who have been assigned a pension due to the loss of a breadwinner. The remaining half is transferred to the account of such children in banks.  However, for orphans who are fully supported by the state in social institutions, the entire amount of their pension payments goes directly to their bank accounts.

If a pensioner was not in an institution, but was in a hospital or on vacation, during the period from the date of his departure to the date of return inclusive, he will be paid a pension in full.

Recall, earlier it was reported, pension with an average salary: what will be the guaranteed amount of payments.
