In the territorial center staffing (TCC) explained whether they can detain men on the streets by force. This information was reported by Novyny.live, reports “URA-Inform”.

Representative of the Poltava TCC Alexander Matsko noted that TCC employees do not have the right to independently use force to detain conscripts on the street. However, this is possible if the person is wanted and police officers are present.

“A person can send you away, turn around and leave. We can’t do anything. Only a police officer can detain someone, I only have the right to notify,” Matsko explained.

At the same time, Matsko clarified that detention can only be carried out by a police officer on the orders of the military, if the person being detained is on the wanted list. He also added that the TCC employees can detain a person liable for military service for violating military registration, but only in the presence of law enforcement officers.

Recall that it was previously reported how many Ukrainians went into the shadows to avoid mobilization: staggering figures were named.
