Pensioners who find employment and do not notify the Pension Fund authorities will have their payments reduced.

This information was reported by 24tv.ua, reports URA-Inform.

The PFU spoke about this in more detail.

«In the event of employment or dismissal from work, a pensioner must notify the Pension Fund of this fact within 10 days,— the report says.

In particular, failure to notify or untimely notification of employment or registration of entrepreneurial activity may lead to illegal payments of pension funds, which are subject to mandatory return to the Pension Fund.

Whereas notification of dismissal from work gives the citizen the right to allowances and increases provided only for the unemployed.

The Pension Fund noted that the absence of income from entrepreneurial activity is not a reason to classify a pensioner as unemployed. In particular, this is possible only after the citizen provides information on the state registration of the termination of the entrepreneurial activity of the individual entrepreneur.

«You can report employment, dismissal or termination of registration of entrepreneurial activity by submitting an application and documents certifying the relevant information, namely an order or instruction on acceptance or dismissal from work, a work book with an entry on employment or dismissal, a civil law contract. This can be done offline, online through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or through the portal «Дія»», — noted in the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Recall that earlier it was reported that another tax in Ukraine could be raised: it became known what you will have to pay more for.
