Energy Minister German Galushchenko reported that after inspections of the fairness of the use of power outage schedules, which took place in all regions, it became clear where the worst situation with violations is.
This information was reported by «Ukrinform», reports “URA-Inform”.
«During the power outage schedules, some regions of Ukraine did not follow the dispatcher's commands to restrict power, and legal conclusions will now be drawn on them. In particular, the State Energy Supervision Service inspected Zhitomir and found such violations there. The situation is further aggravated by the fact that inspectors were not allowed into the facility,— he noted.
According to him, this is unacceptable in peacetime, and especially during war, and they will be held accountable for this. The minister noted that the principle of justice should apply, as was the case in 2022-2023.
«It should not be that some sit without power for 16 hours, while others only for two or four. We have a unified energy system, and it distributes the electricity deficit evenly across all regions. Yes, there are certain points related to the presence of a greater or lesser number of critical infrastructure facilities or industry, but this does not significantly affect the situation, Galushchenko emphasized.
Recall that it was previously reported what the autumn of 2024 will be like: forecasters told what to expect from the weather.
