Self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that Ukraine allegedly violated Belarus' airspace on the night of August 10.

The press service of the head of Belarus reported this information, URA-Inform reports.

He also claims that several targets were shot down over Belarus.

«Yesterday at 18:10, the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus were put on high alert. We call it readiness No. 1. Air Defense Forces on duty. The Armed Forces of Ukraine violated all rules of conduct and violated the airspace of the Republic of Belarus. In the eastern direction, very close to us in the area of ​​the Kostyukovitsky district. Therefore, the Air Defense Forces were put on full combat alert to intercept targets. There were about ten of them. Airplanes and a helicopter took off. And also the MLRS assets were put on high alert», — the ruler of Belarus noted.

Later, according to Lukashenko, at 19:04, at an altitude of one and a half kilometers and a range of 6.5 kilometers, air defense forces allegedly destroyed several targets over the territory of Belarus.

«A search is underway at night and this morning for what was destroyed. We suspect that these are attack drones,— he noted.

It is worth noting that Ukraine has not yet commented on the accusations of the self-proclaimed leader of the Republic of Belarus.
