Candidate from Republican Donald Trump said he is “in a very good position” to end the war in Ukraine.

This information was reported by Breitbart News, reports “URA-Inform”.

He again raised the issue of a possible “peace deal” between Ukraine and Russia, arguing that if he wins the presidential election, such an agreement would be signed before his inauguration in January 2025.

The former president stressed that he is well acquainted with both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, which, in his opinion, will help in achieving peace. He also criticized his Democratic rival Kamala Harris, declaring that she would “do nothing” and can drag the world into a global conflict.

«She doesn't even handle it. I don't think she's going to do anything,' the Republican said.

Trump hopes that if he wins, the war in Ukraine will be to be completed in the period between the elections and the inauguration scheduled for January 20 next year.

Recall that earlier it was reported that the Russian Federation gave a new signal to Ukraine regarding the negotiations: the State Duma made a statement about the Peace Summit.
