August 22 in most regions Ukraine will continue to experience extremely high temperatures, which will pose a serious challenge to residents.
According to forecaster Natalia Didenko, real heat is expected in the eastern, southern and central regions of the country – the air temperature will reach +33-+38 degrees . URA-Inform reports more about Didenko's findings.
In conditions of high temperatures, it is especially important to take precautions, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and drink more water.
In the western regions, and also in Zhitomir, Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions a slight decrease in temperature is expected – to +25-+29 degrees. In the west, in some places the temperature may drop to +23-+25 degrees, which will bring relative relief from the heat. However, in Sumy and Chernihiv regions the heat will be felt more strongly, here the temperature will rise to +30…+34°C.
The general weather picture in Ukraine will remain dry, but in the south and west local short-term thunderstorms are possible , which can bring temporary relief from the sweltering heat.
As for the capital, in Kiev, in the next three days, a slight decrease in temperature is expected to a comfortable +25-+29 degrees. Despite this, the heat will soon return: on Sunday and Monday, the thermometer will rise again to +35 degrees and above, which will require Kiev residents to pay special attention to their health and well-being.
It is worth noting that in one of the regions of Ukraine, mobilization will be increased.
