Ukraine faces a particularly strong threat: Germany urges its citizens to leave

Russia may increase missile strikes in Ukraine, especially in Kyiv, in connection with the celebration of Independence Day on August 24.

This was reported by URA-Inform, with reference to the German Foreign Ministry.

In their statement, representatives of the Foreign Ministry Germany noted that increased shelling of Ukrainian cities is possible on this day.

“For now, it is better not to be in Ukraine and refrain from traveling to this country. We call on our citizens to prioritize safety and leave the territory of Ukraine,” & #8212; stressed in Germany.

Many countries regularly warn their citizens about potential threats during national holidays in Ukraine. Against the backdrop of these events, the United States announced a new package of military aid for Ukraine.

At the same time, it is worth recalling that despite the risks, Polish President Andrzej Duda has already arrived in Ukraine for the holiday (video).
