In the city of Solingen, Germany, on the night of August 24, a tragic incident occurred: at a festival held on the Frohnhof market square, a man attacked visitors with a knife. As a result of the attack, three people were killed, and several others were seriously injured. The suspect in this attack, a Syrian named Issa al X, surrendered himself to the police.

This was reported by URA-Inform, citing Der Spiegel.

According to sources, initially, when the police arrived at the scene, the suspect's clothes was dirty with blood. The German Interior Ministry confirmed the detention of al H.

The terrorist group Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was carried out in revenge for the deaths of Muslims in Palestine and elsewhere regions.
