Russia Will Face Retribution – Zelensky Addresses Ukrainians with Fiery Speech

Today, On August 24, Ukraine celebrates its 33rd Independence Day.

In honor of the holiday, President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation via a video message published on his official Telegram channel. Details are provided by URA-Inform.

In his speech, he emphasized the uniqueness of Ukraine, stating:

“Once you see it, it’s impossible not to fall in love, and once you visit it, you’ll always want to come back.”

The President recorded his address in Sumy region, on the eastern border of the country, from where the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched offensive actions in Russia's Kursk region. Zelensky noted that the war started by the aggressor is returning to him, and promised Ukraine's enemies retaliatory actions, calling it a “boomerang of evil.” He emphasized that Ukrainians always repay debts, and those who sow evil on Ukrainian soil will face the consequences on their own territory. Zelensky also warned that there would be no more safe places in Russia.

The president described Russia as “the world's No. 1 terrorist state” and promised that Ukrainians would strike back at the enemy. He also addressed Russian President Vladimir Putin, stressing that Ukraine will not allow its lands to become a “gray zone” and will not allow the “sick dictator” from Moscow to set his own rules. Zelensky assured that the yellow-blue flag will continue to fly on Ukrainian soil, despite Russia's threats. p>
