Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, WBO, WBA and WBC champion (22-0, 14 KO), shared his thoughts on the upcoming rematch with Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KO), which will take place on December 21 in Riyadh, the capital Saudi Arabia.

This was reported by “URA-Inform”, with reference to NV.ua.

In the interview, Usyk stressed that there is no scenario for him in which he thinks about defeat. As an Orthodox Christian, Usyk admits that any event can happen, but he believes that God is leading him on the right path.

Known for his resilience and spirituality, Usyk added that he only prepares himself for the toughest challenges of his career, and in that process it is important for him to remain true to his path, regardless of whether the outcome is victory or defeat. Faith is key for him, and he trusts God in every aspect of his life and career.

Interestingly, Usyk declined to discuss the financial details of the upcoming fight, noting that each boxer has his own contract with a Saudi company, and disclosure of the terms of the agreement is prohibited. When asked about the possible distribution of fees in the rematch, Usyk said that the exact amounts remain confidential. He did not confirm rumors that he could get 90 million, while Fury – 60 million, only emphasizing that both fighters have their own individual contracts.

Earlier it became known that Usyk gave Zelensky a particularly significant gift.
