Today the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky held two important meetings with the participation of Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky and other high-ranking military leaders.

This was reported by URA-Inform, citing Zelensky's Telegram.

As Zelensky himself reported, the first meeting was devoted to discussing the current situation on the front line. Syrsky and Chief of the General Staff Anatoly Bargilevich were present at this meeting. The main focus was on the operational situation in the area of Pokrovsk and Toretsk.

“We discussed the provision of our brigades and specific defensive measures. I would like to express my gratitude to all units that demonstrate incredible fortitude in battle,” the president wrote.

In addition, the current operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region was discussed, which remains one of the key topics on the agenda.

The second meeting included a narrower circle of participants, including the head of the SBU Vasyl Malyuk, the head of the GUR Kirill Budanov and the Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin. However, Zelensky did not disclose the details of this discussion.

“The only thing I want to emphasize is my gratitude to all our engineers and manufacturers of long-range weapons. We continue to strengthen the Ukrainian potential in this area,” the head of state noted.

At the moment, the front line remains active, and the greatest tension remains in the Pokrovsk area. Russian troops continue their offensive actions, approaching the city to a distance of 11 kilometers. In connection with this, a long curfew has been imposed in Pokrovsk, and civilians are subject to evacuation to ensure their safety.

Amid the escalation of hostilities, it is worth recalling that Zelensky learned how Putin will seek to end the war.
