Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky expressed the opinion that Russian aggression will not be limited to Ukraine, even if Russia wins this conflict.
He shared his views at the GLOBSEC conference, emphasizing that Russia sees war against the West as part of its strategy. Details of the Czech authorities' conclusions are reported by URA-Inform.
Lipavsky noted that it would be a mistake to believe that the Russian military campaign will stop at the borders of Ukraine. In his opinion, in the Russian perception, the sovereignty of neighboring countries and their civil rights must be subordinated to Russian interests.
The minister stressed that Russian aggression will be limited only by the borders established by the West.
“Russia understands only strength and determination. If we want to stop aggression, “We need to act boldly,” he explained.
Lipavsky also criticized European politicians who believe that concessions to Russia's interests could lead to appeasement. He stressed the need for steadfastness and courage in defending European values to resist aggressive actions Russia.
