Iron deficiency – one of the most common problems affecting human health. Doctors warn that a lack of this important element can cause a range of symptoms that often go unnoticed.

This was reported by URA-Inform, citing Woman24.

One of the most obvious signs of iron deficiency is constant fatigue. The body needs iron to produce hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to cells, and without it, tissues do not receive the oxygen they need. This leads to a loss of strength, even if a person get enough rest.

Another important symptom is pale skin. Iron affects skin color, and a deficiency can cause a person to look pale and haggard. Other signs include frequent headaches, dizziness, and shortness of breath during physical activity. In some cases, doctors also note brittle nails and hair loss as clear signs of iron deficiency in the body.

We also reported on how daily consumption of small doses of beer affects health.
