Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has begun moving significant forces and resources to the northern border with Lebanon, entering a new phase of confrontation with the Hezbollah group.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant stressed that the main focus of military operations is now shifting to the region in question.
“Israel is committed to ensuring that residents of northern communities can safely return to their homes, and “a massive effort is being made to achieve this,” Galant said.
The minister also said that the IDF's current actions are just the beginning.
“We are at the beginning of a new phase of the war, and “Our goals in the north are clear and simple,” he said.
Israel's military strategy is aimed at protecting its citizens and neutralizing threats from Hezbollah, based in Lebanon.
