Next week the US plans to announce about a significant package of military aid for Ukraine, but deliveries may be temporarily delayed due to a shortage of supplies in Pentagon warehouses.

The new aid package was reported by URA-Inform, citing CNN.

The package is likely to include artillery, air defense systems and other munitions needed to continue the fighting.

Sources also indicate that the package will be significantly larger than recent deliveries, which amounted to about 200 million dollars. In addition, the possibility of allocating 10 billion dollars from the proceeds of confiscated Russian assets is being considered. These funds, according to the agreement of the G7 countries, can be used to support the security of Ukraine.

The Pentagon managed to report that The U.S. still has $5.9 billion under the president's arms reduction authority, which expires at the end of the fiscal year in a few weeks. It was thanks to these powers that the Pentagon was able to quickly withdraw weapons from its stockpiles and send them to Ukraine, which became the main source of military aid.

We also reported that the Russian Federation was wary: Ukraine could receive a new type of powerful weapon from USA.
