The Russian Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine and the world community of trying to present Russia with an ultimatum to capitulate. This statement was made by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in response to the Ukrainian side’s readiness to invite Russia to the Global Peace Summit scheduled for November 2024.

This was reported by URA-Inform, citing Korrespondent.

Zakharova stressed that the Russian side does not intend to take part in such meetings, suggesting that their main goal is to force Russia to agree to capitulate. She also expressed doubt about the sincerity of the world community on the issue of a peaceful settlement of the conflict, accusing the summit organizers of political pressure.

“Russia is not going to make concessions and accept ultimatums. We are literally being offered a “Bürgenstock process”, of course, Russia will not participate in such a summit,” Zakharova said.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced plans to hold a new Global Peace Summit, to which the Russian side will also be invited. In preparation for this event, Zelensky announced a meeting with US President Joe Biden, at which he intends to present a “victory plan” for Ukraine. This plan includes issues of security, international support, economic assistance and strengthening the country's defense capabilities.

“Diplomatic solutions are possible only when Ukraine is strong, otherwise Russia will not be interested in ending the conflict,” Zelensky emphasized.

Also, let us recall that Putin will soon see the plan for Ukraine's victory: Zelensky revealed the details of an important announcement.
