Rains to return to Ukraine this week: forecasters tell where it's time to get your umbrellas ready

In Ukraine in some places in the coming days Short-term rainfall is expected, but in most areas the weather will remain relatively stable, without significant changes.

The weather forecast for this week is reported by URA-Inform, with reference to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

According to experts, the next three days will be mostly dry, with the exception of some regions. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in Crimea on September 25-26, as well as in the western regions, Zhytomyr, Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions on Thursday.

Forecasters predict that the wind will be predominantly south-easterly at a speed of 5-12 m/s. Night temperatures in Ukraine will fluctuate from +7° to +14°, and in the southern regions – up to +17°. During the day, the air will warm up to +20°-+27°, and in the Carpathians it will be cooler – at night +4°-+19°, during the day +15°-+19°.

Forecaster Natalia Ptukha warned that a change in synoptic conditions is expected over the weekend. While the western regions will experience rainy weather and a drop in temperature from Wednesday, most of the country will maintain warm weather conditions. Temperatures at night will vary from +7° to +17°, and during the day from +20° to +27°, with the exception of the Carpathians, where the coolness will be more noticeable.

“With the arrival of atmospheric fronts, the western regions will be the first to receive precipitation, but other regions will remain under the influence of the anticyclone, which will ensure dry and warm weather. However, by Saturday, a decrease in temperature is expected, especially in the northern regions, including the Kiev region, where thermometer readings will drop to +15°-+20° by the end of the month,” the forecaster said.
