Usyk answered the main questions about the rematch with Fury

World Champion in heavyweight champion according to the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO versions, Oleksandr Usyk spoke about his preparation for the upcoming rematch with Tyson Fury.

This was reported by URA-Inform, with reference to the YouTube channel READY TO FIGHT.

According to the Ukrainian boxer, after the first fight with Fury, he took only a short rest, which lasted about 2-3 weeks, and then returned to regular training. Usyk noted that despite the daily training, they were not too intense:

“I train every day, but I don’t strain myself, I do cardio, physical training and a little boxing.”

In In the near future, Usyk plans to switch to a more rigorous training regimen:

“We are returning to the training camp and starting hard training – three workouts a day, sparring, cross-country, basketball, swimming, sleep and proper nutrition.”

This approach is aimed at being in perfect physical shape for the fight, which will take place on December 21 in Saudi Arabia.

When asked about his predictions for the outcome of the rematch, Usyk remained reserved and emphasized, that he doesn't like to make predictions. However, he expressed confidence in his victory, saying the following:

“With God's help, I will win.”

This demonstrates his inner strength and faith in his own abilities.

Recall that their first fight took place in May of this year and ended with Usyk winning by split decision.
