Brazilian Athos Salome, who is often called the “living Nostradamus” due to the accuracy of his predictions, identified two key points that could lead to a new global conflict between the world's two largest countries, the United States and China.

According to him, war could start at any moment. The first factor he names is the South China Sea, which is an area of heightened tension due to territorial disputes and military presence. Salome believes that instability in this region could serve as a catalyst for conflict.
The second factor that could trigger a war is a major cyber attack. It could disable important structures or damage a country's security, Salome argues. Salome warns that such an attack, especially from China, is entirely possible, given its close ties to Russia and its rapidly growing influence on the world stage.
«This alliance, born of deep-rooted self-interest and a common spirit of anti-Western imperialism, has the potential to turn a regional conflict into an all-out world war. Asia in particular, with its rapid economic development and great geopolitical importance, is seen as an unstable region and a flashpoint that could spark an international conflict», — said Athos.
According to Salome, global tensions are growing, and there may be even more serious challenges ahead.
