Commander The head of the Ukrainian ground forces, General Alexander Pavlyuk, presented the latest data on the losses of Russian troops for the fourth week of September 2024.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Pavlyuk's telegram channel.
< p>It is noted that in the period from September 22 to 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to achieve significant successes at the front, inflicting serious losses on the enemy in both personnel and equipment.
According to Pavlyuk, over the past week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 9,390 Russian soldiers. This data confirms the effectiveness of Ukrainian military operations aimed at weakening the enemy. In addition, the following were destroyed:
- 101 tanks;
- 254 combat armored vehicles;
- 462 artillery systems;
- 9 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS);
- 13 air defense systems;
- 472 vehicles;
- 153 special equipment.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also continued active operations to neutralize air threats. Ukrainian units shot down:
- 15 missiles;
- 558 drones of various types.
Such significant losses on the part of Russia put pressure on the logistics and combat readiness of its armed forces, which may affect the further course of military action. Ukraine continues to hold the initiative on the battlefield, conducting active operations in key areas.
