The fact is that a special bank account is created to receive a pension. The activity on it is monitored by the responsible authorities.
As the minister explained Darya Marchak, if a pensioner has not withdrawn money from such a bank account for 6 months, he will stop receiving his pension. The payment is not cancelled completely, but only frozen. That is, the funds remain in the Pension Fund accounts until all the circumstances are clarified.
< p>When a person regains the ability to receive his money, this money is waiting for him. It is noted that they wait no more than 3 years, but as of now, this period is not yet relevant for those people who received pensions in the territories temporarily occupied since February 24, 2022.
It is worth noting that in order to such a situation did not happen, the pensioner can make at least one transaction per month. For example, a person has the opportunity to top up a phone or pay for utilities, thanks to a pension payment.
