More and more Russians feel fatigue from the war with Ukraine.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Holod.

They express readiness for peace talks, even if Russian troops fail to achieve the Kremlin's initially stated goals. This is indicated by the results of surveys conducted by the Chronicles and ExtremeScan projects on the second anniversary of the announcement of mobilization in Russia.

According to a study by the Chronicles project, which was conducted from September 10 to 17, as well as a series of ExtremeScan polls conducted from July 29 to September 6, almost half of respondents (49%) support the idea of concluding a peace agreement, even if the tasks of the special operation are not completed. 33% were against such a step, and 18% of survey participants found it difficult to answer.

Some regions are even more in favor of ending the war than the traditional centers of protest – Moscow and St. Petersburg. Among the regions studied, the lowest support for the SVO was recorded in the Chechen Republic – only 39% of respondents declared their support for the “special operation”, in second place is the Republic of Tuva (46% support), the level of support in St. Petersburg is slightly higher – 50%. In these same regions, the largest number of respondents declined to answer the question,” the article says.

It was also previously reported on what conditions Russians are ready to end the war: the survey indicated an important change.
