Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to actively work on modernizing military service in the country, introducing the latest digital technologies.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to DOU.

As part of the current initiative, it is planned to launch a new format of summonses equipped with a QR code, which will allow citizens to instantly check their authenticity through a special application “Reserve+”. This project is already being tested and may soon become the standard in the system of calling reservists and military personnel.

According to Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko, the introduction of QR codes on summonses is part of the ministry's overall strategy to automate and improve the transparency of interactions with citizens. First of all, this innovation is aimed at simplifying the process of verifying the authenticity of summonses, minimizing bureaucratic procedures and combating possible fraud.

“The QR code on each summons will contain all the necessary information, available for verification through the Reserve+ application. This is a step forward in the digitalization and automation of interaction with our citizens in the context of mobilization and reserve,” Chernenko said.

The Reserve+ application, developed specifically for the needs of the Ministry of Defense, will become the main tool for citizens to interact with the new generation summons system. With its help, you can quickly scan the QR code located on the summons and get full information about the document.

The application's functions include:

vsubpoena validity check: the user will be able to verify that the subpoena was issued officially and its parameters correspond to the entry in the database;

andsubpoena information: after scanning the QR code, the application will provide detailed data, such as:

subpoena purpose (data clarification, referral to a military medical commission (MMC), call to combat operations, etc.).

This data will allow citizens to obtain the necessary information as transparently and quickly as possible and prepare for execution their duties.

At the same time, it was also reported that unused pension accruals could be written off from pensioners' cards.
