In the city of Voznesensk On October 3, about a hundred soldiers from the 187th battalion of the 123rd brigade of the Troops of Ukraine went to a rally in the Nikolaev region.

This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to “Suspilne”.

< p>The soldiers complained about the lack of weapons to participate in the fighting in the Donetsk direction. As platoon commander Sergei said, the servicemen refused to carry out the combat mission and voluntarily left the military unit in Donbas.

“I have repeatedly contacted them, even to my section, for which I was responsible. I asked to provide PKMs, machine guns. (They told me that – ed.) We don’t have any, we can’t provide them. And then there’s Donbass, what else?” – the serviceman said.

At the same time, according to the head of the psychological support department for personnel of the Troops Command, Alexander Pukhalsky, the unit is fully equipped with weapons and military equipment. But the actions of the soldiers, in particular, unauthorized abandonment of the unit, provides for criminal liability.

“According to the reports of the unit commanders, these servicemen, for a certain period of time, each on his own day, carried out unauthorized abandonment of the military unit. However, the criminal code provides that a serviceman has three days, conditionally this is disciplinary liability. On the fourth day, in the actions of the serviceman, in fact, signs of a criminal offense are seen,” — noted Pukhalsky.

At the moment, the 123rd brigade and the regional department of the Territorial Defense Forces “South” do not publicly comment on the situation.

Also, it was previously reported that in 2025, Ukraine wants to mobilize 600,000 people, including women: an insider on the new government plan.
