In Ukraine, some pensioners must every undergo identification for six months.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

“IDPs who receive a pension from Oschadbank must undergo identification every six months,” the statement says.

They clarified that they are talking about about those IDPs who were registered before February 24, 2022. Identification is needed to confirm that payments from the state are received by the person for whom they are intended.

The identity verification procedure can be completed in several ways:

&# 8212; at the branch of “Oshchadbank”;

— at the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;

— via videoconferencing with the PFU;

— via the personal electronic account on the PFU web portal;

— at a foreign diplomatic institution, obtain a certificate of the fact that the person is alive. Then provide these documents to the PFU body where the pensioner is registered .
