United States estimates Now Ukrainian forces do not have significant problems with logistics and holding these territories, because Russian troops are focused on advancing in the east of Ukraine.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Bloomberg.
As Bloomberg reports, citing its own sources, the Armed Forces of Ukraine today have more stable supplies of artillery ammunition than before.
Thus, the improvement in the supply of shells can be partially explained by the efforts of the allies. We are talking about the initiative of the Czech Republic to purchase artillery shells for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the efforts of the United States and France to develop the artillery potential of Ukraine in the long term.
Ukraine's August offensive around Kursk initially amazed Ukraine's allies with its rapid initial success, but it also worried some officials, who said the cost could be high if Moscow counterattacked and drove out Ukrainian forces.
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said his country could use the territory as bargaining chip in talks, though it is unclear when talks with Moscow might take place, given Russian strongman Vladimir Putin's lack of serious inclination,” — the publication notes.
Bloomberg adds that, according to high-ranking American officials, Ukraine will be able to hold the territory of Kursk region “at least for several months, if not longer.”
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also named the time frame when the Russian Federation could begin to storm the Zaporizhzhya direction.
