Over the last week, Russian The occupiers have stepped up their offensive in the Avdeevka-Pokrovsk sector.

This was reported by URA-Inform, citing the press service of the UK Ministry of Defense.

It is likely that the Russians are preparing to attack Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. According to the press service of the UK Ministry of Defense, citing intelligence data, the occupation forces have partially cordoned off the city of Selidovo and will probably try to capture it in the coming weeks.

Russian forces are also advancing into the city centre of Torets in Donetsk Oblast, but their advance is slow and their current positions in the city remain vulnerable to counterattacks by the Ukrainian military.

«In Ugledar, which was captured by Russian forces in early October 2024, the offensive outside the city is making little progress. The city is located at the intersection of two key fronts – Zaporizhia and Donetsk,» British intelligence adds.

According to British intelligence, there are signs of intensified Russian offensive operations in the eastern part of Zaporizhia Oblast. Thus, Russian troops captured the village of Kamenskoye on the Zaporozhye-Melitopol highway.

«However, this area has remained relatively stable for over a year, and it remains unclear whether Russian forces will be able to develop an offensive in this direction,— the intelligence added.

Recall that earlier it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces are already in Toretsk: the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the situation in the city.
