Dr. Julian De Silva, a London-based plastic surgeon, has used an ancient beauty concept known as the golden ratio to determine the world's ten most attractive men based on scientific data.
This was reported by URA- Inform” with a link to Daily Mail.
He works at the Center for Advanced Cosmetic and Facial Plastic Surgery and used the “golden ratio” – a proportional system developed by the Greeks to evaluate beauty. In ancient times, this mathematical equation was considered the ideal of divine aesthetics. For example, Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting “Vitruvian Man” illustrates the application of the “golden ratio” to the human body.
Topping the list of the most attractive men was 34-year-old British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who is aiming to become the next James Bond, with a near-perfect score of 93.04%. Dr De Silva said:
Aaron was the clear winner. All facial features were measured for physical perfection. His score of 93.04% would easily make him the best-looking James Bond in history if he lands the role as expected.
He noted that Aaron Taylor-Johnson was significantly ahead of all the actors who played James Bond – Sean Connery was in second place with 89.2%, Roger Moore was in third with 88.8% and Daniel Craig was in last place with 84.2%.
In second place was singer Shakira's boyfriend Lucien Laviscount, a 32-year-old actor known for his role in the TV series “Emily in Paris”. His score was 92.41%.
