People's deputy, member Fedor Venislavsky, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, noted that the enemy is increasing the number of its armed forces every month.

URA-Inform reports this with reference to Radio NV.

At the same time, he stated that the bill on demobilization with clearly defined terms of service is, as of today, a dangerous step that could undermine statehood.

“We have information received in closed mode from the Main Intelligence Directorate, from the Foreign Intelligence Service, from border intelligence, from other representatives of the security and defense sector that the Russian Federation is constantly increasing the number of its armed forces,” he said.

According to Venislavsky, the number of occupiers in Ukraine is growing monthly “by tens of thousands.” He also noted that during the adoption of the law on mobilization in April, the parliament recommended that the government prepare a bill on demobilization with certain terms of service, but it has not yet been submitted.

The MP added that he is aware of the difficult situation for the Minister of Defense and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in fulfilling the order of the Verkhovna Rada to establish terms of service. Venislavsky is convinced that demanding the introduction of a legislative act in the current conditions could threaten Ukrainian statehood. According to him, the Verkhovna Rada is working on these issues, but there is no simple solution.

Recall that earlier it was reported that the TCC raided restaurants, clubs and Vakarchuk's concert: a source explained what and why this happened.
