Military expert Peter Chernik draws attention to the recent summit in Switzerland, where representatives of 80 countries and major international organizations gathered.

In his opinion, Such large-scale meetings do not happen without a serious reason, and they indicate the beginning of the process of exiting the current phase of the conflict. Chernik also emphasizes that in diplomacy, important decisions are often discussed implicitly at official meetings, while in closed negotiations everything is said openly.
The expert believes that signals about the upcoming summit with Russia's participation and the activity of European and Ukrainian diplomats in China indicate that a formula for ending the war is being actively discussed and will be found.
