On the night of Monday, October 14, Russian occupiers did not carry out a single attack on Ukrainian cities using drones. Russia's strategic aviation also remained inactive.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Armyinform.

Acting Chief of the Communications Department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Yuriy Ignat, gave official confirmation that for the first time in the last 48 days, the night passed without “shahids” in Ukraine.

Also in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet commented on the possible reasons for the sudden lull on the part of Russian troops. The last time this happened this year was on August 29. As reported by the Ukrainian Air Force, the movement of attack drones last occurred in the air in the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions on the morning of October 13, at about 06:23.

Then, debris from downed Russian drones fell in the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions . In some places this resulted in damage to houses.

Some experts attribute this to the successful strike by Ukrainian forces on one of the “shahid” storage depots in the village of Oktyabrskoye near Yeisk. This happened last week and had a certain effect.< /p>

At the same time, the Russians began an offensive in the Zaporizhzhya region: where the enemy managed to advance (map).
