Ukraine approves total mobilization plan: insider reveals what it means

Source in the Office of the President spoke about the decision that was secretly made against the backdrop of a protracted war in the Ukrainian state.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Resident Telegram channel.

“An insider in the OP said that Bankova was forced to approve the General Staff's plans for total mobilization on the streets of the Ukrainian state. The main reason for this is the problem with reserves within the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” — said at the beginning.

According to the source, the head of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky faced a difficult choice: to lower the mobilization age to 20 years or to “catch” those liable for military service on the streets using a systemic format.

“Zelensky came to the conclusion that the best solution would be to stop booking and strengthen the work of territorial centers recruitment, than to reduce the age of conscripts,” – it was said at the very end.

Against this background, Chernik also spoke about when the war against the Russian Federation might end.
