Executive Advisor The head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Serhiy Leshchenko, said that American politicians are pressuring President Volodymyr Zelensky to lower the mobilization age.

This was reported by URA-Inform, citing  Sergei Leshchenko.

«If this information surfaced, I can confirm: American politicians from both parties are pressuring President Zelensky on the issue of why Ukraine is not mobilizing those aged 18 to 25, the report says.

According to him, , the partners argue their position with the experience of the US war in Vietnam, because then men were taken from the age of 19.

“That's why the Americans are hinting: Western weapons alone are not enough, mobilization from the age of 18″ is needed,” the head of the OP noted.

Leshchenko stressed that President Zelensky “did not push through and continues to convince politicians from both parties to provide weapons without changing the draft age.”

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian parliament finally adopted the bill on October 9 , prohibiting the mobilization of partially fit Ukrainians from 18 to 25 years old.

It also became known that the West is openly demanding that Zelensky negotiate with the Russian Federation: an insider revealed what is happening.
