Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko made another statement about negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Сensor.
In particular, he stated that « ;”tomorrow we will have to give up half the country”, stressing the need for Belarus to participate in negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, especially on territorial issues.
“I have always insisted, and I told the Ukrainians about this, I warned the Russians and Putin that Belarusians should be present at the negotiations on Ukraine,” — said Lukashenko.
In his opinion, Belarusians should be involved in the process of conflict resolution, since the war in Ukraine also affects the interests of Belarus.
“I don’t want them (at the negotiations – ed.) to decide issues – our issues – without us. Yes, they won’t “snatch” Gomel and Polesie there, that’s not the point, but they can make decisions that tomorrow half of the country will have to be given up,” Lukashenko said.
In turn, Biden said readiness for negotiations with Russia, China and the DPRK “without preconditions”: what is being discussed.
