Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov noted that virtually every tenth Ukrainian voluntarily joins the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, after the adoption of law on mobilization, the rate of replenishment of the army has increased.
«Since the “Since the adoption of the law on mobilization this spring, we have increased mobilization rates by 2.5 times. 12 percent of servicemen voluntarily join the army thanks to the new conscription system,” he noted.
According to him, the law on mobilization was intended to make the process of conscription into the army more efficient and transparent. According to the minister, positive indicators indicate that Ukrainians are ready to “defend their land with weapons in hand.”
Fox News journalists also added that the winter season of military operations will begin soon , so the Ukrainian authorities need to step up efforts to recruit new soldiers, train them, and provide them with the necessary military equipment to win the war.
