Ukrainian singer Sofia Rotaru, who has not been heard from for a long time, has once again reminded people of herself by returning to Kyiv for a special occasion.

The People's Artist arrived in the capital to honor the memory of her late husband Anatoly Evdokimenko, who passed away 22 years ago, on October 23, 2002. On that day, Sofia Mikhailovna visited his grave at the Baikovo Cemetery and took a photo at the monument.
< p>The singer posted a photo on her Instagram with a laconic caption: “The only one”, accompanied by a red heart emoji and the date 10/23/2024.
It is unclear whether the photo was taken recently or archive photo, however, based on the date given, it can be assumed that Sofia really did come to Kyiv. Sofia Rotaru appeared in the photo in a stylish look: jeans, a brown vest, a sweater and a scarf. The look was complemented by her invariable glasses, which have become the singer's signature accessory.
Earlier there were rumors that the singer had purchased a villa in Sardinia, Italy, where lives with her family. However, Rotaru's sister, Aurika, claimed that the artist remained in her home in Koncha-Zaspa, near Kyiv.
