Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair believes that the war in Ukraine with the Russian Federation will end on the terms of a compromise.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the London Standard.

However, he stressed that for this Western countries should continue to support Kyiv to strengthen its position at the negotiating table.

“We must give Ukraine all the help we can so that they can agree to end the war, an end that does not encourage Russian aggression. That is why we must be absolutely clear on the side of the Ukrainians. There should be no doubt about that. But we really need to agree about ending this conflict, and it will not end like World War I and World War II. It will not. “There will be a compromise in the end,” said Tony Blair.

At the same time, Blair noted that what is happening has echoes of the early 20th century,” since it allowed Russia to restore “a kind of imperial leadership.”

Also earlier, the president stated after which peace negotiations with the Russian Federation could begin: Zelensky voiced the condition.
